Box Score BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Ali Bettencourt had a huge night, but it wasn't enough as the UW-Parkside women's basketball team suffered an 88-69 road loss Wednesday night to Ferris State.

Bettencourt finished with 25 points and six rebounds on 8-of-15 shooting, including a 4-for-7 performance from beyond the arc. Alisha Murphy added 14 points and Carolina Rahkonen went for 12.
The Bulldogs used a big first half and didn't look back, as the team owned a 44-28 advantage at the break. The Rangers outscored the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter 21-18 and outshot Ferris State on the free-throw line and from beyond the arc.
The Rangers will return home over the weekend, hosting Trinity International on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. followed by the men's basketball team who hosts Minnesota-Duluth.
