Box Score HOUGHTON, Mich. – The UW-Parkside men's basketball team had a balanced scoring attack in game two of the GLVC/GLIAC Challenge, but it wasn't enough in an 83-68 loss to Northern Michigan Sunday afternoon on the campus of Michigan Tech.

All five Ranger starters scored at least eight points, as Jameel Moore led the way with 15 and Espen Fjaerestad added 11. Adam Bonk was also in double-figures, going for 10 with five assists while Joe Borcia had nine and Linwood Lee had eight. Moore connected on four 3-pointers and Fjaerestad hit three.
The Rangers built an 8-1 lead early and also held a 25-22 lead with 7:22 to play in the first half. The Wildcats regained the lead and took a 37-34 advantage into the locker room. The second half went back-and-forth most of the way, as a Moore 3-pointer made it a 6-point game with 7:54 to play in the game, but the Wildcats outscored the Rangers 17-8 the rest of the way and iced the game away at the free-throw line.
Northern Michigan outshot the Rangers (56.4% - 44.6%) and won the rebounding battle 39-26. Parkside finished with 20 assists on 25 made field goals as seven Rangers finished with at least two assists.
Parkside will head to Texas for a pair of games next weekend, first facing St. Mary's on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. and ending the trip with a game against Texas A&M International on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m.
