KANSAS CITY -- Senior
Rebecca Roembke had nine kills and nine digs, but Wisconsin-Parkside dropped a 25-15, 25-22, 25-16 Great Lakes Valley Conference match to West Division leading Rockhurst on Friday at Mason-Halpin Field House.
Kasey Davis and
Katie Adams each added seven kills for the Rangers who saw their two-match winning streak halted by the Hawks.
Lexi Turek had six kills, three digs and two blocks, while
Lauren Hickson had 29 assists and four digs.
Freshman
Annie Leo led the Rangers with 13 digs and reached double figures in digs for the 22nd time this season.
Rockhurst, which improved to 21-4 overall and 11-1 in the GLVC, was led by Morgan Rietzke who had 11 kills and eight digs. Mattie Gray recorded nine kills and a .438 attack percentage and Karli Reichert and Alyssa Woodman had eight kills each.
Wisconsin-Parkside, which dropped to 11-14 overall and 7-5 in conference play, remained tied with Indianapolis for third place in the East Division standings after the Greyhounds lost to Truman State.
Rockhurst hit .340 for the match as a team, while Wisconsin-Parkside was limited to a .163 attack percentage.
The Rangers continue their road swing with a visit to William Jewell on Saturday (Oct. 29) for a GLVC match at 3 p.m.
