About the Premier Volleyball League

SOMERS, Wis. (Jan. 22, 2015)-- University of Wisconsin-Parkside Head Volleyball Coach Christine Paciero has been tabbed as the new head coach for the USA Premier Volleyball League's Badger Blizzard.

Paciero takes the reins of the professional squad for the spring 2015 campaign and will coach the squad while continuing her duties as head coach of the Rangers.

The Badger Blizzard is a women's professional indoor volleyball team representing the Badger Region, one of the 40 regional volleyball associations across North America. Fielding 15 teams in 2015, the PVL was established in 2012 and provides league and tournament play for elite-level post-collegiate athletes in the United States, culminating with the PVL Championships in Detroit, Michigan during the USA Volleyball Open Championships in late May.

Paciero guided the Rangers to a 15-13 overall record in 2014, marking her third consecutive winning campaign at UW-Parkside while excelling off the court by earning the 2013-2014 Great Lakes Valley Conference Team Academic Award and the 2013-2014 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award. Paciero owns a four-year mark of 69-52 with the Rangers and owns a career record of 132-90, which includes a three-year stint at Dominican University.
