Christine Paciero begins her sixth year as the head volleyball coach at UW-Parkside in 2016. On July 11, 2011 she was named the 11th head coach in program history.

Paciero (pronounced- Pah-share-oh) led the Rangers back to the GLVC Tournament in 2015, finishing the season 19-12 overall and 10-8 in GLVC play for the program's fourth consecutive winning campaign. Three student-athletes captured All-GLVC honors at the conclusion of the season with Rebecca Roembke landing honorable mention All-American accolafes. In addition to success on the court, the team continued to perform in the classroom, claiming the Provost Award for the highest team grade point average during both the spring and fall semesters of 2015.

Paciero led the Rangers to a 15-13 record in 2014, marking the first time since 1990 that UW-Parkside has posted a winning record in three consecutive seasons. Paciero's 2014 club additionally excelled in the classroom, earning the 2014-2015 Great Lakes Valley Conference Team Academic Award and the 2014-2015 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award.

Paciero's 2013 club posted an 18-13 overall mark, the program's second straight winning campaign while helping the team excel in the classroom, earning the 2013-2014 Great Lakes Valley Conference Team Academic Award and the 2013-2014 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award.

She guided the Rangers to a 21-10 record in 2012, qualifying for the GLVC Championship Tournament for the second consecutive season while claiming a 3-2 upset victory over then 10th-ranked University of Indianapolis on Nov. 3.

In her first season as coach in 2011, Paciero led the Rangers to the GLVC Championship Tournament for the first time since 2003, while posting an 11-7 record in GLVC play, the program's most wins in conference since the 1997 season. In four seasons. Paciero owns a career mark of 69-52 at UW-Parkside.

Paciero joined the UW-Parkside Athletic Department after a highly successful stint as the Head Volleyball Coach and Athletic Events Manger at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois.

Paciero led a remarkable turnaround at Dominican that culminated with the program’s first conference tournament championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2010. She inherited a squad that finished 9-20 prior to her arrival in 2008 and promptly led them to the school’s first volleyball regular season conference championship two years later. Her three-year record at Dominican was 63-38.

Her efforts earned her Northern Athletic Conference Coach of the Year awards in both 2009 and 2010. Two of her players at Dominican earned the conference’s “Freshman of the Year” award while another was the 2009 “Defensive Player of the Year” in the league. All told, her players received 10 all-conference honors during her time with the Stars’ program.

Paciero’s success at Dominican expands beyond the court as the program was honored with the AVCA Team Academic Award both her final two seasons with the 2010-11 team boasting a 3.50 grade point average.

Paciero is well-connected throughout the state as she served as a coach with the Wisconsin Juniors Volleyball Club as well as the varsity head coach at Cedarburg High School. During her stint in Cedarburg the Bulldogs won three consecutive conference championships.

Prior to her time in the high school ranks, Paciero was an assistant coach at Wayne State University, an NCAA Division II member in Detroit, Mich. There she helped the Warriors to two division championships and three twenty-win seasons. She also spent time as an assistant coach at Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia, Mich., where the program reached the round of 16 at the national tournament.

Paciero enjoyed great success as a player as well, matriculating from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fla. There, she won two regional championships including one Final Four appearance for AVCA Hall of Fame Coach, Lois Webb. She began her collegiate career at Schoolcraft where her team won a national championship.

Paciero earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern in social studies education. She received her master’s degree in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
