(Sept. 26, 2014)-- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside volleyball squad encountered little resistance on Friday night, rolling host University of Illinois Springfield 3-0 (27-25, 25-18, 25-19) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division showdown inside the UIS Recreation & Athletic Center.

UW-Parkside never trailed in the second set, cruising to the 25-18 win before finishing off Illinois Springfield with a 25-19 win in the third set. The Rangers led wire-to-wire in the final set, scoring four of the first five points. UIS closed the gap to just one at 16-15 but the Rangers tallied nine of the final 12 points to put away the match.
