SOMERS, Wis. (Oct. 7, 2014)-- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside volleyball squad extended its win streak to three matches on Tuesday afternoon, steamrolling Olivet Nazarene University 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-14) in a non-conference tilt inside DeSimone Gymnasium.

The Rangers (9-6), playing their first home match after five straight on the road, dropped the opening point of set one before rattling off seven straight to stake a 7-1 lead. Jackie Langer tallied three kills during the surge while Rebecca Roembke also netted a kill. UW-Parkside never trailed the rest of the way with another Roembke kill closing the set 25-18 in favor of the hosts.

The visiting Tigers (7-19) grabbed an early lead in set two but were unable to withstand the Rangers as kills from Allyn Krenz and Roembke accounted for the set's final two points, giving UW-Parkside the 25-15 set win. The third set was tied 3-3 but the Rangers overwhelmed Olivet Nazarene down the stretch, capitalizing on a service error, a Roembke kill and a Langer service ace to secure the 6-3 lead. The Rangers led the rest of the way, posting the 25-14 set win to secure the three-set sweep.

Langer finished with a double-double, netting 12 kills and 11 digs while Lexi Turek and Roembke added nine and eight kills, respectively. Lauren Hickson tallied 21 assists on the night with Megan Pekarek contributing 13. Victoria Walsh paced the defensive efforts for the Green and White, accumulating 14 digs during the contest.

The Rangers, winners of three straight, continue their homestand on Friday night, welcoming Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division rival University of Indianapolis to DeSimone Gymnasium. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
