About the Rangers: UW-Parkside (2-2) returns to Wisconsin after dropping a pair of games last weekend at the Radisson Hotel Roseville Classic hosted by Concordia University Saint Paul. The Rangers' comeback bid fell short against Minnesota State University-Moorhead on Nov. 15, falling 71-68 before stumbling 73-53 to the host and ninth-ranked Golden Bears.
Against MSU-Moorhead, the Rangers trailed by as many as 11 points before crawling back into the game.
Kristin Conniff brought UW-Parkside within a point, draining a three with 41 seconds left and a
Tara Knapstein steal with 13 ticks left gave the Rangers a chance for the win. A missed shot forced UW-P to foul as the Red Dragons hit their free throws and held on for the win.
Danielle Slivka led all scorers with 18 points with Gabby Bronson adding 17 and a game-high six assists.
Against Concordia, a 20-2 run by the hosts negated an early Ranger lead as the Golden Bears led by 10 at the half and never trailed in the second half, sending UW-Parkside its second loss of the 2013-2014 season.
Bronson posted another stellar afternoon, finishing just shy of a triple double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. The junior was among five athletes named to the All-Tournament squad.

Nafeshia Holifield has been a force off the bench, leading the team on the glass averaging 5.8 rpg.
About the Trojans: NAIA Trinity International (2-4, 2-2 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference) heads into Friday having dropped three of its last four, including an 84-50 CCAC setback against NAIA sixth-ranked Roosevelt University.

The loss to Roosevelt came on the heels of the Trojans 75-68 win over Goshen College on Nov. 15, snapping a two-game slide. The Yorg File: Head Coach
Jacob Yorg became the program's sixth coach over the summer, replacing the program's winningest coach in Jenny Knight-Kenesie. Yorg is no stranger to the GLVC having served as the associate head coach at Maryville University from 2008-2013. Maryville posted a 76-64 record in that span, winning the GLVC West Division crown last season in the Saints' fourth year as a Division II program.
Also joining the program is top assistant Jordan Wilde. Wilde previously served in a similar capacity at NAIA Ashford University in Iowa. Former UW-Parkside standouts
Brittany Beyer and
Jadee Rooney will both patrol the bench as well. Beyer served as a student assistant last season after concluding her career in 2012 while Rooney joins the Ranger staff after spending the summer dominating the Big V League in Australia as a member of the Ringwood Hawks.
