The 13th-ranked UW-Parkside women's soccer game versus Saginaw Valley State University was cancelled on Saturday due to threatening weather in the area. The teams waited out numerous delays but were called off the field due to lightning within the mandated NCAA safety radius. After another delay around the attempted 3:00 p.m. start time the game had been postponed to its limits.

The game will not be rescheduled. The Rangers will now play their home opener Friday at 1:15 p.m. at Wood Road Field. UW-Parkside will take on Saint Joseph's in the team's GLVC opener.
