The UW-Parkside women's basketball team extended their winning streak to four games after an 80-59 win over St. Francis Saturday afternoon. The non-conference game was contested in the DeSimone Gymnasium.

Amanda Gibson scored a career high 25 points. It was the third consecutive game Gibson either equalled or set a new personal high.

Brittany Beyer logged a career high of 23 points in the contest. Amy Selk came off the bench to add 11 points, another Ranger career high.

The Rangers started out fast, taking a 16-4 lead just 6 minutes into the game. The Fighting Saints went on an 8-0 run to close within 16-12.

Gibson stretched the lead to 26-15 with a three-point shot then hit another from long range on the next possession.

The score stood at 42-55 at halftime.

St. Francis pulled within 10 at 54-44 with 10:40 to go in the game, but that was close as it would get.

Next up for the Rangers is a two-game trip to San Diego, December 28-29. The team will play Mercyhurst and U-MASS Lowell.
