The loss snapped a 16-game home winning streak for the Rangers. The team had not lost at home since it fell to Drury in November of 2006.

The Rangers took the biggest lead that either team could come up with at 49-43 with 9:10 to go in the game. Tyrone Deacon's steal and lay-up gave the Rangers a six-point margin. Moments later, Kyle Clark's break-away lay-up gave UW-Parkside a larger 52-43 lead with 7:57 to go and the Rangers looked as if they were on their way.

Indianapolis caught its hosts at 52-52 with 4 minutes left. A momentum changing dunk by Braxton Mills put the Greyhounds up by two and then he later made a pair of free throws and it was 58-56, Indianapolis.

The lead moved to 60-56 on a free throw by Indy's Myron Jackson. The teams traded free throws until the 5 second mark, when Greyhound Tristan Rogers made his first free throw, but missed the second, opening the door for the Rangers.

Down by three with the final seconds ticking away, Dave Keane fired a three-point shot at the buzzer which fell off the mark, preserving the win for Indianapolis.

LaVontay Fenderson scored 17 points to pace the UW-Parkside charge. Brad Ferstenou notched 14 points before fouling out.

The Rangers shot 40 percent for the game, while Indy made good on 38 percent of its shots. Indianapolis won the rebounding battle by a 41-35 count.
