UW-Parkside fell behind, 4-0, then saw the game tied at 11-11. From there, the Rangers put on a 47-10 run to close the half en route to a 104-52 lambasting of Silver Lake College. The non-conference game was played in the DeSimone Gymnasium.
Silver Lake is in its first season of men's basketball. UW-Parkside was the school's first NCAA opponent. Silver Lake, from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, plays in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.
Every player who suited scored for UW-Parkside, led by #D.J. Dantzler with 18 points. Matt Hein added 16 and Craig Cunningham# added 11. All three are reserve players.
UW-Parkside shot 56 percent from the floor and out-rebounded the Lakers, 52-27.
The Rangers, who picked up votes in the latest NCAA Division II poll, are now 3-0.
