Parkside Athletics

Michael Stephenson joined the Parkside staff as an assistant athletic trainer in August of 2024. He is responsible for cross country, baseball and assisting with track and field. 

A native to Madison Wisconsin, Stephenson graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences in May of 2022. He went on to earn his Masters Degree in Athletic Training at UW-Stevens Point in May of 2024, where he worked with the men’s hockey team, women's basketball and baseball. Stephenson also completed his clinical immersion at UW-Whitewater primarily working with football in the fall of 2023. 

Stephenson has been certified by the NATA Board of Certification since 2024 and is licensed by the state of Wisconsin. He is a member of National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association. 

Stephenson enjoys weight lifting, running, hiking and playing guitar.
