Kyleigh Block

Kyleigh Block was named the Graduate Assistant Coach for Volleyball in July of 2018.

Block, a native of Normal, Ill., finished out her playing career at Illinois Wesleyan University in 2017. At Illinois Wesleyan, Block was named Freshman of the Year in the CCIW, Division III All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), four-time All-Conference Player, several all-tournament teams including Barker Classics, Ohio Northern Invitational, and Wittenberg National Invitational Tournament, MVP, and Most Inspirational Player on her way to help the Titans reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1998. Block tied the single match record for services aces in a three set win with 10.

She served as the Illini Elite Volleyball Club 16U Assistant Coach for three years, Head Coach for the 5th grade team at Corpus Christi Catholic School, and has helped out at numerous camps and clinics for Illinois Wesleyan University while also giving lessons. While at IWU, she was awarded the Jason Jones True Titan Award, presented to a senior student-athlete who represents the highest character as a member of the Titan Athletic Community. Block was one of the victors of the 2018 Order of Titans along with heading the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as president for her senior year.

Block graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in May of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, pre-physical therapy and minor in exercise science.
