High School: Conference runner-up and state qualifier in cross country … First-team all-conference…Did not compete in track until senior year…Won the conference 800 and 1600 titles…Ran 4x400 relay that placed second in the state and on 4x800 team that placed 12th… Coached by Jim Bauer and Gerald Walta.
