Biography

2014: Played in 12 games for the Rangers. Tallied 3 RBI and 4 runs. Daystych also homered against Cardinal Stritch on April 21st.

High School: Dastych signs with the Rangers after a stellar career at West Chicago High School. The Carol Stream native was named All-DuPage Valley Conference in 2013 after earning honorable mention All-DVC accolades in 2012. The right-handed second baseman helped the Wildcats win the conference title in 2010 and 2011 while earning a regional title during their 2012 campaign. Dastych won the Wildcat Award in 2013.
