Parkside Athletics

 Yet another of the 2006 redshirt group, David emerged slowly from the pack. He saw limited time in the fall of 2007. Through his determined effort to raise his game over the last two years, he has improved every aspect of his play. David has exceptional quickness and agility, perhaps the best on the squad. He has developed a nice touch and can bang with the best of them as he does not shy away from physical play. Dave showed great improvements last spring and settled in nicely as a wide defender. He was considered the most improved player this past spring. We expect him to continue his growth into the fall season. Mercer was an all-conference member in high school. He was also Centennial’s captain and MVP.
