Tom Reigel is in his 13th season of assisting the UW-P men’s basketball program in 2015-2016 after coaching 30 years at the prep level.

Reigel was inducted in the 2006 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame for his accomplishments during his career. At the high school level, Reigel won six conference titles and two state championships (1984 and 1991) as the head coach of Wilmot High School. Both state championship teams went undefeated in their magical seasons. At one point, his Panther teams compiled a 50-game winning streak over a 2-year span.

Before coming to UW-Parkside, he spent 10 years as the head coach at Waukesha South High School where he led the Blackshirts to a state tournament semi-final appearance. During his career as a head coach, Reigel accumulated over 400 wins. 

Reigel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Blackburn College. He and his wife Pat reside in Waterford. They have two children, Luke and Pamela.
