Chris Hill joined Parkside as the assistant men's basketball coach in April of 2021.
Hill, a former student-athlete and assistant coach at Milwaukee, recently finished his second year as an assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's basketball team in 2020-21.
Hill was a member of the Milwaukee men's basketball team from 2001-06, helping the Panthers make three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2005, and capture three Horizon League regular season and tournament championships. He played 116 games during his collegiate career, and Milwaukee won 108 games during his five-year stint with the program.
After playing professionally in Europe from 2006-10, Hill returned to the United States and was named graduate assistant at the University of Tennessee for the 2010-11 season. He returned to Milwaukee in 2011 as a men's basketball academic advisor, a position he held for one year.
Hill served as video coordinator on the Panthers' staff for two seasons before taking over as director of basketball operations for the 2014-15 campaign. He was promoted to assistant coach for the 2015-16 season, when he was heavily involved in recruiting, practice and game planning, player development, academic advising, public relations and other administrative duties.
Hill served as a student services advocate teacher in the Shorewood School District and as head varsity boys basketball coach at Shorewood High School from 2016-19 before being hired at UW-Whitewater.
Hill graduated from Milwaukee in 2006 with degrees in sociology and criminal justice.
