Participant Manual
Wednesday, October 24th - Entries Due
Regional and National Entry Forms. Eligible student-athletes must be submitted on the official online entry form through Direct Athletics prior to the regional cross country meets. Coaches may enter up to ten eligible student-athletes on the online entry form, of which no more than seven must be declared to participate the day prior to competition (regionals and nationals). Coaches may make changes to the 10 student-athletes listed on the entry form up through the end of declarations. It is not necessary for student-athletes representing a qualified team at the finals to have competed in regional competition. The entry form will be available beginning 8 a.m. Eastern time, Monday, October 22. All entry forms must be submitted by midnight Eastern time, Wednesday, October 24. The online entry form can be accessed through Direct Athletics at www.directathletics.com.

Final Declarations:
Final declarations due from 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. on Friday November 2nd, 2012. Declarations can be emailed to: wisrun@gmail.com up until 12 p.m., otherwise declarations must be done in person at the Sport & Activity Center. This will declare your 7 competing athletes.
Course:
Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course, located on HWY JR adjacent to the UW-Parkside Sports & Activities Center. The course is carved out of meadow and forest with the running surface varying from grass, dirt, and fine gravel. 3/8 to 1/2 inch spikes recommended.

Timing/Finish Line:
ChampionChip timing and Finish Lynx camera review will be administered by Sports Management Associates Inc. Backup manual timing will be provided by Wisconsin Runner.
Results:
Will be available at the finish line building following the 30-minute protest period after unofficial results have been posted. Results will also be available online at the conclusion of the meet.
Awards:
Championship and All-Regions awards will be presented under the finish line banner at approximately 1:00pm.

Tickets:
Admission is free.
Team Camps:
Establish team camps to the left of the chute area along the treeline. Please make sure to leave the camp area in the same condition you found it, removing all garbage generated.
Athletic Trainers:
Athletic Trainers will be available in the UW-Parkside Sports & Activities Center (SAC), Athletic Training Room (ATR): Friday November 2nd 12:00pm-6:00pm (SAC-ATR)
Saturday November 3rd 8:00am-9:30am (SAC-ATR), 9:30am-End of Races (Course) A mobile ATR will be at the finish line.

Restrooms:
Portable restrooms will be provided in the start/finish line area.
Concessions:
Concessions will be available at the shed near the finish line area.
Showers:
Athletes may shower at the UW-P Sports & Activities Center after their races. They must provide their own towels and locks. Meet management and UW-P are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. NO SPIKES MAY BE WORN IN THE UW-CENTER. No clothes or shoes are allowed in the UW-P showers.
Inclement Weather:
The athletic training staff and games committee will make any decisions regarding delays due to inclement weather. Delays will be considered in 30 minute intervals
