Biography

2015-16: Was named Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference...Was named to the GLVC All-Defensive Team...Also named to the GLVC All-Tournament team after helping lead the Rangers to the championship game...Played, and started, 29 games on the season...Averaged 15.0 points per game, which ranked second on the team...Led the GLVC in steals per game averaging 2.1 per contest...Led the Rangers with 147 assists and averaged 5.1 per outing...Had a 1.7 assist to turnover ratio...Shot 49.6 (139-of-280) percent from the floor and 76.7 (135-of-176) percent from the free throw line...Made 41.1 (23-of-56) percent of his three-point attempts...Reached double figures in 25 games...Scored at least nine points in every game...Had 20 games with at least five rebounds...Had two double-doubles on the season...Had 10 points and 10 assists versus Missouri S&T (1/7)...Scored 13 points and dished out 10 assists against Southern Indiana (1/23)...Scored a career-high 30 points in the Rangers overtime victory against Quincy (2/13)...Was 10-of-20 from the floor and 10-of-11 from the free throw line...Scored 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field at Truman State (2/11)...Tossed in 22 points against Saint Joseph's (2/18) by making 7-of-9 shots from the field...Scored 17 points in the Rangers NCAA Tournament victory over Kentucky Wesleyan (3/12)...Scored 20 points against Saginaw Valley State (3/13) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament

2014-15: Appeared in 29 games for the Rangers. Averaged 4.8 points per game and 2.6 rebounds per game while racking up 48 assists, 34 steals and five blocks. Finished in double figures on three occasions, scoring a season-high 11 points on Jan. 31 against Saint Joseph's before replicating the feat on Feb. 21 against Illinois Springfield.

High School: Kendale McCullum joins the Ranger program from Larkin High School in Elgin, Ill., where he was coached by Deryn Carter. The 6 foot, 1 inch, point guard enjoyed a banner year for the Royals in 2013-2014, averaging 14.9 points per game, 6.7 assists per game and 4.1 steals per game along with 4.0 rebounds per game and 1.0 blocks a game. The guard was the Upstate Eight Conference River Division Player of the Year as a senior while also claiming Honorable Mention All-State accolades.

The Elgin native was a two-time Courier News All-Area player and a two-time Daily Herald All-Area selection in addition to securing All-Upstate Eight Conference accolades in both 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. McCullum helped Larkin to a 46-11 record over the past two seasons, including a pair of Upstate Eight Conference River Division titles, including a perfect 12-0 mark in league play this past season.
