2012-2013: Played at the junior college level for Kennedy-King College in Chicago.
High School: Led Mundelein High School to the best season in school history as a senior, earning Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-State honors. He was a Lake County All-Area Honorable Mention and Pioneer Press Lake Shore Third Team selection after averaging 8.3 points per game and helping the Mustangs tally a school record 29 wins and a spot in the IHSA 4A Sectional Finals.
