WASHINGTON, Mich. — Parkside finished fifth at the Warrior Invitational, posting a three-round team score of 939 at Orchards GC. AJ Powell placed first individually at 219 (+3), while Lily Zicarelli finished third at 224 (+8) to give Parkside two golfers in the top three. The victory is the second straight for Powell and the fourth of his career.

Powell finished first with a 3-over 219, posting rounds of 76, 71, and 72, including a 1-under second round and an even-par final round. Powell led the field in par-4 scoring, playing them in three under par, and made eight birdies at the tournament, which was fourth most in the field. Zicarelli placed third at 8-over 224, closing with a 1-under 71 after opening with rounds of 77 and 76. Zicarelli's third-place finish matches the best of her career. She played the par 4s in +8, which was third best in the field, and led the field in par-5 scoring, playing them in three under par. Additionally, Zicarelli made nine birdies at the tournament, which led the field.

Maia Becker tied for 36th place with rounds of 86, 79, and 78, totaling 243 (+27). Sarah Arsich tied for 49th with rounds of 82, 86, and 85, totaling 253 (+37). Payton Torres finished in 83rd place with rounds of 113, 109, and 112, totaling 334 (+118).
