MILWAUKEE — Parkside (1-1-0, 0-0-0) fell to Lewis University (1-1-0, 0-0-0) with a 3-0 loss on Monday at Engelmann Stadium on the campus of UW-Milwaukee.
Mateusz Pass recorded 10 saves, providing a strong defensive effort for Parkside.
Jaime Vazquez contributed offensively with two shots, one of which was on goal.
Hudson Scheiber also attempted two shots, placing one on target.
Massimo Juarez made his presence felt with one shot on goal.
Parkside created multiple scoring opportunities in the first half, highlighted by four corner kicks and six shots. However, the Flyers capitalized on their chances, breaking through with a goal by Lance Somerfield in the 36th minute, assisted by Antonio Sasso.
The Flyers controlled the second half, capitalizing on their offensive pressure to secure a 3-0 victory. Santino Moriconi made it 2-0 with a goal in the 66th minute, assisted by Faustin Wilson, following a flurry of shots that were saved by Parkside's
Mateusz Pass. Aiden Durbin extended the lead in the 78th minute with another goal, assisted by Joseph Munyaneza.
