KENOSHA, Wis. – Parkside men's soccer head coach
Jason Zitzke has announced the addition of
Armin Dedic as an assistant coach for the Rangers.
Dedic moves into the coaching role after completing his collegiate playing career with Parkside in 2025. In his lone season with the Rangers, Dedic served as a cornerstone of the Parkside back line, starting all 16 matches and anchoring the defense throughout the season.
Dedic logged a team-high 1,460 minutes in 2025, leading all Rangers in minutes played while playing every possible minute. He also recorded seven shots, including one on goal.
Before arriving at Parkside, Dedic spent the first three seasons of his collegiate career at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. He appeared in 24 matches for the Leathernecks, logging 718 minutes and scoring one goal.
As a junior in 2024, Dedic played in seven matches and made four starts. During his sophomore season in 2023, he appeared in 12 matches, made three starts and scored in Western Illinois' 3-2 win over St. Thomas on Oct. 7. As a freshman in 2022, he made seven appearances and earned his first career start in a 1-1 road draw against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 8.
A native of Waterloo, Iowa, Dedic was a three-year letterwinner at Waterloo West High School under head coach Michael Penning. He earned first-team all-conference and all-state honors during both his junior and senior seasons. Dedic is the son of Alma and Sanel Dedic and has one brother, Admir.
