KENOSHA, Wis. - The Parkside Rangers return to action this week with a five-game slate, opening with a non-conference midweek road matchup at Rockford University before heading into a four-game conference series against Roosevelt University at Historic Simmons Field.

Scouting Parkside
The Parkside Rangers enter the week with a 21-17 overall record and an 8-8 mark in GLIAC play. As a team, the Rangers are hitting .289, which ranks fifth in the conference, while their 6.86 ERA sits fourth. Parkside went 3-1 against Purdue Northwest this past week, securing its first conference series win of the season.
Joe Mrowiec turned in a standout performance, earning GLIAC Player of the Week honors after batting an impressive .588 (10-for-17) during the series. He recorded three doubles and three home runs, driving in 11 runs while posting a 1.294 slugging percentage and scoring nine times.
John Wubben also made a strong impact at the plate, hitting .778 (7-for-9) with seven RBIs over the weekend.
Benjamin Loyd added another productive showing, batting .625 (10-for-16) with seven doubles and three RBIs. Loyd continues to lead the Rangers with a .408 batting average on the season, which ranks fourth in the GLIAC.
Brennen Miller earned a win this past weekend, moving to 3-3 on the season. He posts a 4.87 ERA on the season and has 37 strikeouts through 44.1 innings. He limits his opponents to a .269 batting average.

Austin Grube also earned wins on the mound this past weekend.
Scouting Rockford University
Rockford University enters the midweek matchup with a 18–10 overall record, including a 8–8 mark in conference play. As a team, the Regents are batting .325 and carry a 4.12 ERA.
Leading the Regents offensively is Kadin Bergstrom, who is batting .369 on the season with a 1.180 OPS. Bergstrom also leads the team in run production with 35 RBIs, including ten home runs. Blaise Mace has been another key contributor at the plate, hitting .341 with 31 hits across 91 at-bats.
Fabis has also been effective on the mound, posting a 7–0 record with a 2.32 ERA, leading the team with 35 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .213 batting average. Alex Easton has added to the pitching staff with a 4–1 record and 34 strikeouts over 46.2 innings pitched, while Sidney Atkins leads the team with three saves.
Historically, the Rangers are 2-2 against the Regents.
Scouting Roosevelt Univeristy
The Roosevelt Lakers enter the weekend series with a 9-31 overall record, with a 0-16 mark in GLIAC conference play. They are batting .265 and have a total 11.22 ERA on the season.
Ian Bagaconza leads the Lakers offensively, hitting .339 on the season. He has 42 hits, including six doubles, three triples and three homeruns with 19 RBIS. Alejandro Munoz leads the team in RBIS with 30, with a .304 batting average on the year.
Liam Neely posts a 3-5 record on the mound for Roosevelt, with a 8.21 ERA. Jace Dominic and Sam Skirvin also both post one save this season.
Historically, the Rangers hold a 5-0 record all time against the Lakers.
