LEMONT, Ill. — Parkside finished third at the Flyers Fall Intercollegiate, closing the three-round stroke-play event at Cog Hill's No. 4 Dubsdread course with a team total of 901 for its best team finish of the season. Parkside finished second as a team in par-five scoring at 7-under, made a field-best 42 birdies and had the third-fewest bogeys in the field.
Shane Stanley led Parkside individually, placing eighth at 223 (+7), while
Glenn Sutton tied for 12th at 226 (+10) and
Preston Lamirande and
Tyler Reiter tied for 15th at 227 (+11).
Stanley finished eighth with a 223 (+7), including an even-par 72 in the second round. Stanley played the par fives in 5-under, fourth best in the field. Sutton tied for 12th at 226 (+10) after opening with a 74. Lamirande tied for 15th with a 227 (+11), highlighted by a second-round 73. Sutton and Lamirande each made 10 birdies, tying for the fifth-most in the field.
Reiter also tied for 15th at 227 (+11) and closed with a 74 in the third round. Reiter led the field in par-three scoring at 1-under.
Ryan Lingelbach finished in a tie for 45th at 236 (+20).
