9/3/2025 6:06:00 PM

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside women's cross country team will open the 2025 season on Friday ranked among the best in the nation. The Rangers checked in at No. 24 in the USTFCCCA National Poll and No. 23 in the FloTrack College XC Rankings presented by HOKA, marking the program's first national ranking since 2016. Parkside also enters the season ranked fifth in the Midwest Region by the USTFCCCA, after closing the 2024 season with a sixth-place regional ranking.

"It's great to be recognized by our peers for our efforts leading into this preseason," said Parkside Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Nick Maas. "We have a ways to go in order to prove ourselves yet. Our plan moving through this season is to focus on making Green Choices day in and day out and focus on our day to day. These ladies have been working hard and it should be a fun year!"

The Rangers open their 2025 campaign on Friday, September 5, when they host the Vic Godfrey Open at 5:00 p.m. at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
