BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Parkside Women's Cross Country team had an impressive showing at the 2024 GLIAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon in Big Rapids, Michigan. The Rangers finished third as a team which is the best finish for the program since joining the GLIAC. Freshman
Abbi Steiner also came home with hardware, finishing third and earning GLIAC Freshman of the Year and first team All-GLIAC honors.
"Both teams were aggressive and ran with grit," said Director of Cross Country and Track and Field
Nick Maas. "Our women.... wow! What a tough performance to go from sixth to third in a year is tremendous! Three all-conference performers and a freshman of the year is pretty special. Even though we had our best GLIAC finish we have some unfinished business in two weeks. Great day to be a Ranger!"
