KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's basketball team is now set for postseason play. The seventh seeded Rangers are set to travel north to Lake Superior State for GLIAC Tournament action. Tip off in Sault St. Marie is set for 7 p.m. EST with coverage available at ParksideRangers.com/coverage.

Scouting Lake Superior State
The Lakers finished the regular season 25-5 and 16-4 in GLIAC play, giving them the No. 2 seed entering the GLIAC Tournament. The enter the tournament on a four game win streak, recently sweeping last week's action with wins over SVSU and Wayne State. The Rangers and Lakers split the regular season series, both team winning in their respective home contests.
LSSU's offense is led by Tyson Edmonson. Edmonson's 15.7 ppg helps lead the high powered Lakers offense who averages 79.6 ppg, good enough for second most in the GLIAC. The Lakers have five players who average double digit points entering the weekend.
On the defensive end the Lakers are led by Hunter Soper. Soper pulls down a team high 7.1 rpg and adds a team leading 31 blocks on the season. Teammate Kingsley Perkins Was recently named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in the final week of the regular season. Perkins pulled down a total of 21 rebounds across two games and added four blocks to his total to help aid the Lakers to two key victories.
