Indianapolis, Ind. – The NCAA released its first regional rankings of the season on Wednesday afternoon, and the Parkside women's basketball program was recognized in the Midwest Region alongside four other GLIAC teams.

Parkside, currently 16-7 overall and 11-5 in conference play, earned a spot on the initial list featuring the top ten teams in the region. The Rangers have already played eight games against teams in the current rankings, with their recent upset victory over No. 1 Grand Valley State standing out as a signature win as the postseason approaches.
The NCAA will release its first official regional rankings with placements next Wednesday. Parkside will face another ranked opponent this Saturday when they travel to take on Ferris State.
