MARQUETTE, Mich.— Wisconsin–Parkside traveled to Marquette, Michigan, for the quarterfinal round of the GLIAC Women's Volleyball Tournament, where the Rangers earned a 3–1 victory over Northern Michigan to advance to the semifinals. The matchup featured two competitive programs meeting for the third time this season, and Parkside delivered a poised and efficient performance on the road to extend its postseason run.
Parkside opened the match with a resilient fight in the first set, battling back from an early 9–1 deficit to nearly complete the comeback before falling 25–23. The Rangers hit .103 in the frame, with
Ava Irvin providing a strong offensive spark by recording four kills on .444 hitting. In the back row,
Natalie Harris added four digs and delivered a service ace, helping Parkside close the gap late in the set despite the early deficit.
The Rangers responded with a dominant performance in the second set, earning a 25–19 victory. Parkside posted a match-high .306 hitting percentage and a 65 percent sideout rate, controlling the set from start to finish.
Sierra Kilbourn delivered a perfect offensive outing, going 6-for-6 and hitting 1.000 to lead the attack. At the net,
Mariena Coon added two solo blocks, helping the Rangers establish momentum heading into the third set.
Parkside continued its strong play with a 25–23 win in the third set.
Avary Polavin led the Rangers offensively with seven kills, providing crucial points in a tightly contested frame. Defensively, Parkside recorded four team blocks, while
Natalie Harris delivered another standout performance in the backcourt, collecting 12 digs and adding another service ace to help secure the set.
The Rangers closed out the match with a 25–22 victory in the fourth set, hitting .222 as a team to secure the win. Both
Avary Polavin and
Sierra Kilbourn notched six kills each in the final frame, keeping the offense balanced and efficient. Parkside maintained a strong 60 percent sideout rate to finish the match and advance to the GLIAC semifinals.

Sierra Kilbourn led the offense with 17 kills on .625 hitting, while
Avary Polavin added 17 kills and 17.5 points to anchor the attack. Contributions from the middle came from
Maia Olson and
Mariena Coon, who combined for eight kills and helped Parkside finish with 10 team blocks.
Ava Irvin added 11 kills and 15 digs, recording a double-double. In the setting role,
Lucy Russ and
Lily Ray combined for 57 assists, with Russ also posting a double-double by adding 10 digs and 2 service aces. Defensively,
Natalie Harris anchored Parkside's back row with a match-high 28 digs and added 2 service aces, helping the Rangers limit Northern Michigan's offensive rhythm.
Parkside advances to the semifinals of the GLIAC Volleyball Tournament, where the Rangers will take on Wayne State. The matchup is set for 5:30 p.m. CT in Big Rapids, Michigan, on the campus of Ferris State University.
