BAY CITY, Mich. — The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its 2025 All-GLIAC men's soccer teams today, and four Parkside players earned postseason honors.
For the second straight season, redshirt senior goalkeeper Daniyal Rana was named GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-GLIAC. Rana led the league with 111 saves — 19 more than any other goalkeeper — while averaging 6.94 saves per match. He ranked third in goals-against average (1.48) and posted three shutouts, starting all 16 matches for the Rangers.
Senior forward Eduardo Aguilera-Guillen joined Rana on the First Team after one of the best offensive seasons in the conference. Aguilera-Guillen tallied a team-leading nine goals (tied for second in the GLIAC) and added three assists. His 21 points were the second most in the league. He recorded two multi-goal matches and finished the season with 42 total shots and 18 on target — both top-10 figures among conference players.
In his debut season at Parkside, junior defender Jaime Vazquez earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors. Vazquez anchored the Rangers' defensive unit, starting all 14 matches he played and totaling 1,197 minutes on the pitch. He also contributed two goals from the back line, showcasing his two-way presence.
Senior midfielder Jamie Le Comte was named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention after providing consistent leadership in the midfield. Le Comte finished with one goal and one assist while logging more than 1,300 minutes this season.
