KENOSHA, WIS. – Parkside Volleyball is gearing up for an exciting Homecoming weekend at DeSimone Arena as the Rangers return home for a pair of key GLIAC matchups. The weekend marks the third round of conference play, with Parkside currently sitting fifth in the GLIAC standings. The Rangers will welcome No. 16 Ferris State on Friday, followed by Davenport on Saturday.

The Rangers enter the weekend with strong momentum, posting a 9-2 overall record to start the season. After dropping tough road matches to both Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech last week, Parkside is eager to get back on track in front of its home crowd. Statistically, Parkside has been one of the league's top teams, leading the GLIAC in team assists, team digs, team kills, and team service aces. Defensively, libero
Natalie Harris has been a standout presence, ranking sixth in the nation in digs per set (5.68) and 18th in total digs (250). Setter
Lucy Russ has also been a key contributor, ranking first in the GLIAC with 441 total assists. Offensively,
Ava Irvin ranks second in the conference with 160 kills, followed closely by teammate
Sam Fisch with 158.
Scouting Ferris State:
Ranked 16th nationally, Ferris State comes into the weekend with an 8-4 overall record and a 3-1 mark in conference play. Ferris is led by outside hitter Gabby Piazza, who currently leads the conference in kills per set (3.95) and total kills (166), along with setter Hayley Wegener, who ranks third in the GLIAC in assists per set (10.02) and third in total assists (421). Parkside enters the matchup seeking to improve its record in the all-time series against the Bulldogs, which currently stands at 2-15 following a straight-sets loss in their last meeting in November 2024.
Scouting Davenport:
Davenport enters the weekend with a 6-5 overall record and a 3-1 mark in conference play. The Panthers are led by setter Madison Berry, who ranks first in the conference in assists per set (10.98) and second in total assists (439), and earned GLIAC Setter of the Week honors in Week 3. Davenport also features libero Hayley Carr, who ranks second in the conference in total digs (191) and digs per set (4.78), and earned GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 3. The Rangers are currently 5-11 all-time against the Panthers, who swept Parkside 3-0 in their last meeting.
