MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Parkside men's soccer team returned to action on Sunday afternoon up north against Northern Michigan. The Rangers picked up a crucial GLIAC win over the Wildcats 1-0.

How it Happened
The game's only goal came in the 19
th minute as a foul conceded by the Wildcats gave the Rangers a free kick about 10 yards past the midfield line in the Rangers offensive half.
Mario Bolado would boot the ball all the way into the back of the net to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead.
The Wildcats would push to try to find the equalizer, putting up nine shots up in the second half of play.
Daniyal Rana and company stood tall and kept Northern Michigan from finding the back of the net as the Rangers would capture the 1-0 win.
