KENOSHA, Wis. — The Parkside Men's Cross Country team continued the 2024 season on Saturday afternoon, hosting the Lucian Rosa invite. Parkside finished third as a team. Following the meet Parkside honored their alumni and the 2024 seniors.

"Great race efforts from our teams on senior/alumni day," remarked Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Nick Maas. "Today was night and day from last week. We'll need to continue that effort moving into the second half of the season. Proud day for this coach!"

Johnathon Nowacki led the way for the Rangers in the 8k race on Saturday. He finished in 25:55.3, finishing eighth. Wil Kiley also posted a top ten performance, finishing tenth in a time of 25:58.5. 

Austin Depuydt finished 18th, running a time of 26:42.6. Sean Waldvogel finished next in 19th, running a personal best time of 25:47.9. 

Jose Monroy finished 23rd, running a time of 27:02.3. Doug Martin finished 24th, running a personal best time of 27:06.3. Connor Sheahan closed out the scoring for Parkside, finishing 31st in a time of 27:27.4.

The Rangers will return to action on October 19th at the Drews – Neubauer Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin – Lacrosse. A link to live results can be found at ParksideRangers.com/coverage
