KENOSHA, Wis. -- The No. 22 Parkside men's soccer team hosted Purdue Northwest to open GLIAC play on Saturday afternoon. The Rangers would battle the Pride in a scrappy 2-2 draw to move to 2-0-2 on the season.
"I thought it was a hard fought, resilient effort. back and fourth game, it was very competitive between two very good teams. We had to play end to end, after being down twice I'm happy we could battle back and get the draw," said head coach
Jason Zitzke after the match.

- Chris Estrada erupted for two goals in the match for the brace. It's Estrada's first multi goal game in his collegiate career.
How it Happened
PNW would strike first in the 28th minute, making the score 1-0. The scoreline remained the same when the halftime whistle blew.
Parkside would adapt and make changes in the second half in search of the equalizer. They would finally breakthrough in the 71st minute as
Chris Estrada would slot home a goal in the bottom left corner of the goal to make the score 1-1.
The Pride wouldn't go away that easily, finding the go ahead goal just four minutes later to go ahead 2-1. The Rangers would respond in the 81st minute on another
Chris Estrada goal. Estrada would finish the goal after great interlinking play between
Paco Piscaglia and and
Jules Peycelon. The scoreline would move to 2-2. Neither team would find the game winner, and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
