WINONA, Minn. – The Parkside women's soccer team traveled to Minnesota on Friday for a non-conference contest against Winona State. The Rangers dropped their first game of the season, falling to the Warriors 1-0.

How it Happened
The Rangers and Warriors were very evenly matched as a foul in the box in the 67
th minute would prove to be the difference. The initial penalty kick attempt was saved by Minic but the Warriors were able to capitalize on the spill and put the ball in the back of the net. Parkside would search for the equalizer for the remainder of the match, but would fall short in the effort.
