KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside Men's Soccer program is set to hit the road for the first time this season. The Rangers will travel down to Springfield, Illinois on Thursday for a non-conference matchup against UIS. Kick off against the Prairie Stars is set for 12 p.m. CDT.
The Rangers enter the week with a 1-0-1 record after defeating Quincy in a 1-0 scoreline and picking up a 1-1 draw against then fourth ranked Lewis University.

SCOUTING UIS
The Prairie Stars are coming off loss in their opening week of play. UIS started the year ranked 17
th in the nation in Division II soccer but after a loss to unranked Purdue Northwest, the Prairie Stars have fallen out of the most recent rankings poll.
UIS enters Thursday's game looking to get their offense more involved. The Prairie Stats mustered just three total shots in their season opener, landing just one shot on goal. The Rangers conceded 17 shots against Quincy and 11 against Lewis.
HISTORY
The Rangers and Praire Stars will square off for the 24th time. The series favors UIS, who has 12 wins to the Rangers nine wins. There has also been two draws in the all time series, the most recent being in 2023 at Wood Road Field.
