Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Rangers Down Panthers Thanks to Dominant Offensive Showing

KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Parkside women's basketball team returned to De Simone Arena on Saturday afternoon to take on the Davenport Panthers. The game was apart of the GLIAC's conference wide Play4Kay initiative to raise money for cancer research. The Rangers, decked in pink accessories, handled business against the Panthers, winning 104-54.

"Great way to bounce back after a tough loss on Thursday! I was really pleased with our effort- I thought we were locked in defensively and really unselfish offensively. Everyone made big contributions and it was a lot of fun to watch. We had a great week of practice with energy; looking forward to going to battle with this group for the remainder of our regular season," coach Jen Conely stated about the win. She continued, saying "A huge shout out to Coach Courtney Locke for coordinating the Play 4 Kay games and Kris Dunbar and the GLIAC for organizing it! Every single one of our players knows someone that has battled cancer or is currently battling it. I think it's incredible for us to be able to honor them, continue to spread awareness, and help find a cure. All money raised will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to help find a cure for cancer. Thank you to everyone who helped support today- from wearing pink to coming to our game to donating- we really appreciate your support!"
