KENOSHA, WIs. -- The Parkside women's basketball team played in their final regular season game in DeSimone Arena on Saturday afternoon against the Purdue Northwest Pride. It was also the program's Senior Day as the Rangers honored
Gabriela Loiz and
Paty Gallasova prior to the game. The Rangers got the job done, defeating the Pride 99-80.
"Big win against Purdue Northwest! It was great to be able to celebrate and honor our seniors with a win in their final regular season game at De Simone Arena! We shot incredibly well in the first half and cooled a bit in the second half. I did not think our defensive intensity was where it needed to be for 40 minutes- we need to learn quickly that defense travels and will help carry us, especially since we are on the road at Ferris State and LSSU next week," stated coach
Jen Conely after the game.
