KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's track and field team hosted their final home meet of the 2023-24 indoor season on Saturday afternoon.
Khalil McLain finished sixth in the 55 meters in a time of 6.80.
Aubrey Powers also picked up a top finish, finishing 8
th with a personal best time of 6.76.
Michael Hendrix won the 200 meters in a personal best time of 23.17. He also finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 4.16m. Zach Neumann finished fifth in the 200 meters in a time of 23.50.
Michael Cabaltera won the 400m in a time of 51.68.
Josh McLinn,
Dalton Metzdorf and
Thomas Diamond finished third through fifth respectively, with Diamond recording a personal best.
Jared Furman finished seventh in the event as well.
Erik Johnson,
Konner Akey and
Conner Sheahan went fourth fifth and sixth in the 800 meters. Sheahan finished his race in a personal best time. He also put together a personal best in the mile finishing sixth.
Wil Kiley won the mile in 4:25.07.
Jack Allen finished third and
Isaac Fullmer tenth.
Max Silkey finished second in the 3000 meters with a personal best time of 9:46.83.
Simon Dominic won the 55 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 8.00.
Daksh Arora and
Michael Hendrix went one and two in the pole vault. Arora recorded a mark of 4.46m.
Thomas Doherty won the long jump with a personal best time of 6.84m.
Aaron Mueller finished fourth in the same event with a mark of 6.20m.
Ariel Molina recorded a personal best in the triple jump, finishing second with a mark of 12.62m.
Kaelan McDonough finished fifth in the shot put with a personal best throw of 13.43m. He also finished tenth in the weight throw.
Parkside will now ready for the 2024 GLIAC Conference Meet which will be held on February 24-25 in University Center, Mich. on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. Links to coverage and results can be found at ParksideRangers.com.
