The Rangers enter the week after finishing the season unbeaten in their last three matches. Lola Minic received conference honors as the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week after collected 11 saves across two matches with a .938 save percentage.

SCOUTING GRAND VALLEY STATE

The Lakers enter the postseason with an 11-1-6 overall record and an 8-1-5 GLIAC record. The Lakers during the regular season made their way as high up as No. 1 in the USCA Top 25 Poll. They enter the GLIAC Tournament ranked No.19 in Division II.

In the offensive half the Lakers are led by Emma Chudik, Ella Kleiver, and Alli French. All three are tied for the team lead in goals with four. The Lakers as a team have scored 26 goals, while holding opposing teams to just seven. Taylor Reid and Ryann Fetty have been key facilitators for GVSU. Reid leads the team with five assists with Fetty close behind with four.

On the defensive end the Lakers rely on Caitlynn Junk between the goal posts. Junk, a Division I transfer from IUPUI, has secured the starting goalkeeper position for the Lakers, posting a .450 goals against average and grabbing eight shutouts. The junior has had to make 44 saves in goal while collecting ten wins while in net for GVSU.

HISTORY
This is a GLIAC Tournament rematch for both sides as the Rangers and Lakers met in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals last year. The Rangers would stun the Lakers in Marquette as an Alexis Bolger set piece goal would lift the Rangers to the 1-0 upset. Parkside enters Tuesday's match as underdogs once again and will look to capture the program's fifth victory over GVSU.
