Rangers Fall on the Road to Northern Michigan

MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Parkside women's soccer team returned to the pitch on Friday afternoon for the GLIAC battle with Northern Michigan. The Rangers would fall to the Wildcats 5-0.

  • Lola Minic collected a new career high in saves with 12 on the afternoon.
  • Emily Mikkelson led the Rangers offensively, shooting three shots and landing two of them on net.
 
How it Happened
The Ranger offense would come out firing, putting up the three shots in the first 13 minutes of play. The Rangers ended the day with 10 shots.
 
The Wildcats would breakthough in the 32nd minute. They would hold a 1-0 lead heading into the half.
 
The second half of action was all Northern Michigan. They would notch four more goals in the second set of 45, scoring in the 47th, 49th, 59th, and 77th minute. The Wildcats would go on to win 5-0.
