Box Score Grand Rapids, MI - The Parkside Rangers were unable to hold off the Davenport Panthers, who completed a five-set victory in comeback fashion. Parkside led two sets to one heading into the fourth set but dropped the final two sets and the match.

How It Happened:
Following a loss the night prior, the Rangers were fired up in the opening set. Elizabeth Truckenbrod got the Rangers started, executing a perfect set from Karlee Lois. As the set progressed, Lily Ray dished out assists to Sierra Kilbourn and Lindsay Krznarich, putting the Rangers ahead early. Sierra Kilbourn remained on point, delivering a total of five kills in the set, as the Rangers cruised to a 25-18 victory.
After dropping a highly intense second set, 25-23, the Rangers were able to bounce back in the third. The teams traded blows throughout the early stages, but once the Rangers reached 15 points first, they picked up the pace. Timely kills from Sam Fisch and Lindsay Krznarich propelled the Rangers to a set victory, boosting the overall score to 2-1 in favor of Parkside.
After a lopsided fourth set, where Davenport dominated 25-18, the thrilling match came down to the fifth set. Davenport came out strong, earning a 6-1 advantage early. Despite battling back, the Rangers were unable to even the score and fell 15-12. Davenport put the pressure on offensively, hitting .346 in the fourth set and .385 in the fifth.
