Sault Ste. Marie, MI - The Parkside Rangers officially snapped their seven-match losing streak with a dominant victory over Lake Superior State. In a career night for Karlee Lois, the Rangers handled the Lakers in three sets.

Despite a long road trip up north, the Rangers settled in early in the first set. Karlee Lois, hunting a major milestone in her Parkside career, seemed locked in from the start. Lois, who was seven assists away from 2,000, reached that mark early on. Already in the lead, Lois set up Kendal Zeiter for a successful attack, officially securing her career milestone. Lois continued to dish out productive sets, with Sam Fisch registering five first-set kills to lead the team. Parkside controlled the momentum, dominating the first set 25-10. Natalie Harris recorded an impressive 14 first-set digs, on her way to a standout night.
The Rangers, as in the first set, jumped out to a lengthy lead in the second set. Within the first several minutes, the Rangers held an 11-5 lead. Karlee Lois and Marisa Lootens opened the set with a pair of service aces, and after several Lakers' errors, the Rangers held a commanding lead. The Rangers never relinquished the lead and won the second set 25-13 in dominant fashion. Sam Fisch closed the set with a powerful kill, her seventh of the match.
In the third set, the Rangers stormed out to a 5-1 lead, with freshmen Delanie Voss and Monica Lukasiewicz providing a spark. Both recorded timely kills en route to solid performances in a Parkside victory. As the match wound down, the Rangers remained strong defensively, with Natalie Harris leading the charge and recording another 20-dig performance. Senior Lindsay Krznarich delivered the final blow with a massive block to cap off the Rangers' victory in three sets.
