Rangers Fall to Panthers on the Road

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Parkside men's soccer team returned to action on Friday evening. The Rangers traveled to Davenport for a GLIAC match up against the Panthers. The Rangers dropped a close 1-0 decision.

How it Happened
The match would be scoreless through the first 45 minutes of action despite both teams combining for 10 first half shots.

The best opportunity for the rangers came in the 82nd minute. The Rangers would be awarded an indirect kick in the box that Mario Bolado would shoot. Bolado's shot would be blocked by the sea of Davenport bodies as the Panthers would clear the ball away from danger.
 
The Rangers would spend the final eight minutes searching for an equalizer. They would fire off three shots and collect four corners, but were unable to equalize and would fall in a 1-0 scoreline.
