HAMMOND, Ind. -- The Parkside men's soccer team traveled down to Purdue Northwest for midweek GLIAC action on Wednesday. The Ranger picked up another GLIAC win to move to 3-2-2 in conference play, topping the Pride 1-0.

- Jules Peycelon notched his third goal of the season. His goal now makes him the outright leader in points for the Rangers with nine.Â
- Daniyal Rana and company picked up their fourth clean sheet of the season. Rana made three saves in the effort.Â
- The Rangers were outshot by the Pride 13-11. However, the Rangers were able to put seven shots on goal compared to the Pride's three.Â
How it Happened
The opening 45 minutes featured six PNW shots to Parkside's four. The Ranger defense would stand tall only allowing the Pride to put two shots on frame, both saved by Rana. The score at the half would sit at 0-0.Â
The Rangers would break through in the 54th minute of play.
Bryan Torres would fire a shot that would be blocked by the Pride defense. The ricochet would land at the feet of
Jules Peycelon who would slot the ball in the bottom right corner to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead. Parkside would see the scoreline through and pick up the 1-0 victory.
