KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside women's soccer team is continuing their homestand this weekend. The Rangers will host two GLIAC matches at Wood Road Field. They will open the weekend welcoming No. 16 Grand Valley State to Kenosha. Kickoff against the Lakers is set for 1 p.m. CDT. The Rangers will then have a day off and return to Wood Road on Sunday to host Saginaw Valley State University. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m. CDT.

The Rangers enter the weekend still in search of their first GLIAC victory of 2024. Parkside is coming off two consecutive draws in last week's play.
Lola Minic had a solid weekend, grabbing two clean sheets and collecting seven saves across the two game span.
SCOUTING GRAND VALLEY STATE
The Lakers enter this week ranked No. 16 in Division II. They currently sit at 6-1-3 overall and 3-1-2 in GLIAC play. GVSU struggled in the week previous, going 0-1-1. They would draw PNW 1-1, then drop a 1-0 score line to Davenport.
Grand Valley State's offense is led by Emma Chudik. The senior leads the Lakers in goals so far this season with three, and has added an assist to total seven points. Teammates Alli French and Kennedy Bearden lead the team in shots this season with 22 apiece.
Defensively the Lakers are led by Cailynn Junk in goal. Junk, a division I transfer from IUPUI, has been strong in goal with three shutouts and 22 saves on the season.
HISTORY
The Rangers and Lakers met in Allendale just two weeks ago. The Lakers would handle business picking up the 3-0 win to improve their all time record against the Rangers. Parkside is just 4-14-1 against Grand Valley State.
SCOUTING SAGINAW VALLEY STATE
The Cardinals enter the week after going 1-1-0 in last week's action, picking up a 1-0 win over Michigan Tech, then falling in a 3-1 scoreline to Northern Michigan. SVSU is 4-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in GLIAC action.
SVSU's offensive attack is led by Lauryn Fracassi, Rileigh Garbarz, and Madi Bajis who all lead the team with two goals apiece. Garbarz also has three assists on the season to lead the team outright in points with seven.
The Cardinal defense has been led by junior goalkeeper Lainey Garbarz. She has appeared in goal for the Cardinals in all but one game so far this season, totaling 720 minutes in goal. She has added 46 saves and collected five shutouts.
HISTORY
The Rangers have just one victory over the Cardinals. Parkside is 1-13-1 all time against Saginaw Valley State.
