HAMMOND, Ind. -- After a one day delay of the game, the Parkside women's basketball team went toe to toe with Purdue Northwest on Sunday afternoon. The Rangers topped the Pride 84-75 to move to 4-1 in GLIAC play.
"Gritty road win against Purdue Northwest. We were able to get some stops and run in transition early- they really pounded the ball inside in the 2nd quarter and it was great to see our team execute the adjustments in the 2nd half. There are still a few things that we need to clean up, but I thought we battled hard and made big plays at key moments," remarked head coach
Jen Conely after the win.
